Evil Plans
A downloadable game for Windows
In this 2D stealth platformer you control the devil himself, and aid him to accomplish his nefarious plans. Sneak in, utilizing the devils abilities and follow through with his plans, everything will always work out, right?
Hello! This is my first ever game jam and first project that I release in public. I am really happy with the progress I made in this one week as a programmer (I hope you find the art appealing enough to give the game a chance.). Having to balance level design, art, sound design, mechanics, UI etc, was incredibly tough, but extremely fun. If you have any feedback, praise, criticism, please leave a comment below!
Also, I feel like I should mention this, but you can pause the game by pressing "P". I forgot to add that to the controls summary. Have fun!

Love the art! really unique and looks awesome!
The art design is cute!! and I love the music :))
Watched someone play this on livestream and it wasn't that laggy for him.
…
my computer blue screened…
maybe cuz of the lag lol
Sorry, I tried your game, but it's lagging too much for me. What I want to say is :
🫱You have an objective, a story—this is good. Also, the music is good, and the drawings are great. I love the style.
🫱One problem I have is why you only used these graphics for the objects. The contrast with the walls or the floor feels strange. On one hand, you have a drawing-style for the assets, and on the other, a realistic "concrete" floor. Also, maybe the UI buttons in the start menu could be redesigned. You could change the colors to match the game's style (red and black), and I think it would fit much better.
That's all from me. Feel free to check out my game if you want—it's much shorter than yours, I think.
